Your First Chiropractic Visit

Back Pain Treatment

When you come to Warrington Chiropractic, you’re part of the family. We’ll welcome you in for your first visit and collect or ask you to fill out our new patient forms. Then it’s time to start your first visit, which will occur in a few phases:

Consultation: You’ll talk with Dr. Yenzer, discussing your health-related problems, goals, concerns, and treatment options. You and the doctor will get to know each other and learn how chiropractic services can help you.

Examination: Dr. Yenzer will perform a complete chiropractic examination once the consultation is through. He’ll test your reflexes and flexibility and perform standard neurological, orthopedic, postural, and physical tests to get a full picture of your health – all with your consent, of course.

X-Ray Studies: We might take X-rays to help us get a clearer picture of your condition. These X-rays can help us develop an effective treatment plan and alert us to serious spinal conditions.

Dr. Yenzer will also make sure to let you know if your condition requires care from other providers, in order to provide the best treatment and wellness plan for your needs.

Wellness Program: Before you leave, Dr. Yenzer might suggest a wellness program to complement your treatment outside the office. Depending on your condition, this might include simple measures like ice or heat application for painful areas, activities or positions to avoid, and exercises or stretches. We can also work with you to create healthy habits and routines for your unique lifestyle.
